ABOUT US
Jones antique Lighting
is a family run business established in 1980 on Westbourne Grove
just a two minute walk from the famous antique market of Portobello
road. We specialise in English and French antique lighting,
although we do stock some pieces from the rest of Europe and the
world. All our lights range from the Victorian, Edwardian, Art
Nouveau, Arts & Crafts and Art deco periods. Over twenty five
years we have built up a substantial collection of original
lighting making it one of the largest selection in the world.
PADA
MEMBER
Jones Antique Lighting are proud to have been long members of the
Portobello Antique Dealers Association. In order to obtain
membership Jones Antique lighting must adhere to the PADA code of
practice. This code ensures that the quality and authenticity of
antiques sold by its members are to a high standard.

ACQUISITION & RESTORATION
With over 25 years of experience in antiques, we use our
knowledge and contacts to acquire the best quality antique lights
from all over England, France and the rest of main land Europe. All
our lights are professionally cleaned, restored, polished and
rewired.
WIRING
All our lights are professionally rewired to British legal
standards at 240V. Please note that for our foreign customers that
run on 110V there is no need for rewiring all they will need to do
is dismiss the earth wire.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT
& HENDLEY'S HUMPERS
As part of our service to our International customers we are happy
to help with shipment of your lights. Jones Antique Lighting
recommends using Hedley’s Humpers. Hedley’s Humpers are specialists
in shipment of fine art and antiques all over the world and have
been our own Shippers for the past 20 years. If you are interested
in using Hedley's we will be happy to make contact with them and
acquire a quote on your behalf. We also welcome you to pick up your
item at our showroom or arrange for your own delivery/shipping
method.

TERMS OF DELIVERY
The customer is
responsible for all packaging, shipping, and insurance charges.
Jones antique Lighting will not accept liability for any goods
damaged during delivery/shipment.
REFUNDS
Jones Antique lighting are happy to accept refunds specific to
these terms:
1) The item is returned within four weeks of delivery/shipment date
.
2) The item’s condition is as before delivery/shipment.
3) The customer accepts full responsibility for the cost of
delivery/shipment.
4) The customer accepts a handling and transaction charge. This is
7.5% + vat of value of goods returned.
Payment Via Credit and Debit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Amex.
For card payments please click on the “buy now” icon and follow the
instructions on pay pal.
N.B.: customers do not need a pay pal account to use this
service.
Other Payment methods
Customers are welcome to pay by cheque or bankers draft.
VAT
Please note that all our prices include VAT @ 17.5%. Customers
planning to
export goods outside of the European Union are exempt of this
charge. Please
be sure to inform us, if you plan to export your goods, so that VAT
can be
refunded to you.
N.B: VAT will only be refunded with a proof of export form.
Customers are responsible for ensuring we receive proof of export
forms.
PRIVACY
Any information that you supply to Jones Antique Lighting is
kept strictly confidential.
