A large gilded “Versailles”  hanging lantern attributed to Escaré & Danelle, London. The moulded glass (of prismatic form) sits between heavily cast brass or bronze neo-classical mounts  with Ram’s head and acanthus decoration. The light maintains the original chain for suspension with replacement ceiling hook. England early c.20th

N.B: As found. chip to glass lip see final photo. Not noticeable when glass in situ. Our price has been amended to reflect this defect.
