Jean Noverdy, Dijon

  • Jean Noverdy opened his glassworks in Dijon, 17, Place Bossuet.
  • Using the same techniques of Daum Frères, André Delatte and Muller Frères he created acid-etched vases and shades in the style of the school of Nancy.
  • Between 1926 and 1928, he is present at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français in Paris.

Less known than the famous Nancean glassworks, his production can be compared with them. Maybe a biography would have to be published to honour his work and give him the reputation that he deserves.
