A pair of polychrome-enamelled plafonniers by Loys Lucha, designed with hydrangea and exotic fronds, with frosted-glass geometric border in relief; nickelled-brass fitments for suspension; France, c.1930;(one plafonnier with 1cm. chip to rim and flake chip to finial hole).

Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon

  • Created by Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon in Billancourt (Paris) and Nancy the company was active from the 1910’s till the 1930’s.
  • They specialized in the glass enameling, it can be compared with the Leune company (Heiligenstein).
  • Loys Lucha was a modernist Art Deco lighting company designing glass lamp-shades similar to Loys Lucha.
