Farrokh Samiei (1941-present)

• F.Samiei of Iranian heritage moved to London to train in design engineering during the late 70’s and then subsequently completed a masters degree in architecture.
• Unable to return home due to the Iranian revolution Samiei settled permanently in the UK and  worked in design engineering for companies such as Ford in Park Royal.
• Living in London Samiei was able to persue his passion for antique and specifcally lighting visiting the arcades on portobello Rd during the early 80’s
• By 1985 Samiei was working full time within the antique trade specialising in antique lighting restoration.
• In 2000 F.Samiei opened his business reTouch Lighting based in Harrow on the Hill where he was finally able to realise his dream of designing and making the bespoke antique lights of the future.
