Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon (1880–1951).
- Created by Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon in Billancourt (Paris) and Nancy the company was active from the 1910’s till the 1930’s.
- The name is a portmanteau: Loÿs for Louis and Lucha from Chaffard-Luçon.
- Loys Lucha was an Art Deco lighting company celebrated for its high end polychrome-enamelled glass plaffoniers.
- Its hand-painted lights have vibrant enamel designs applied to delicate, frosted, or “frozen” glass often with abstract floral and nature motifs..
- In the hierarchy of French Art Deco lighting, Loÿs Lucha is often compared to high-end producers like Leune (headed by Auguste Heiligenstein) or Maxonade.
