An arts and crafts lantern by an unknown designer possibly originally designed for gas, the lightly polished brass framework with a lightly-hammered finish and containing the original vaseline-glass cylinder insert possibly by James Powell & Sons of Whitefriars. The lantern now hangs pendant via cordgrip with areplacement ceiling rose for suspension. England,c.1900.
